WELCOME

We would like to welcome you to First Baptist Church of Desloge.  We are excited you are here!  We know that there are many questions that you will have as you visit and we would like to encourage you to ask those questions.  We love to answer them.  Some of the most common ones are:

Where will I leave my children?

We have special programs and classes for each age group and would love for your child to attend.  Please ask one of the greeters where your child needs to go and they can take you.

Are they safe?

Each person that is involved with the children in any capacity has completed and passed a background check.  Another way to ensure the safety of your child is that we have installed closed circuit security cameras.  You will personally have to check your child out at the end of service.  Also, the entire bottom level of the church is locked at 10:30 a.m.  This is to ensure that your child is safe the entire time they are at FBC Desloge.

What do I wear?

Our only requirement is that you wear what makes you comfortable enough to worship God.  For some, this means dresses and suits, for others this means slacks or nice jeans.  Whatever you wear, we pray that you will be welcomed and comfortable here.

What times are the services?

Our Sundays consist of Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and  Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Services start at 6:00 p.m. with our Youth Study. An Adult Bible Study and Wednesday Kids program begin at 6:30 p.m.

What do you believe?

Our church doctrine follows the doctrine adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.  Please see the drop down tab “What We Believe” under “New Here?” for more information and links.

Many of these questions and others are answered in the “New Here?” drop down menus where we have detailed out what to expect, our church history, our mission statement and vision, and the staff that is available to you.  If you cannot find the answer to a question, please use the “Contact Us” feature on this website to send us a message.

Again, welcome to our church and we pray you are loved on and welcomed with an over abundance.  We pray that you can truly worship the Lord in this place.  We pray that you never want to leave!
